I had the opportunity to live in Agape Manor after going to Minnesota Adult and Teen Challenge. I have 16 months in recovery, but I needed a safe environment to help me grow in my faith and I needed community to hold me accountable. Lighthouse beginnings welcomed me with open arms. I stayed at Agape Manor, which is the most beautiful house inside and out. It's so spacious and every room has its own bathroom which is such a blessing in community living. Ashley, one of the board members has not only become an amazing mentor for me, but she has also become a great friend. Jesse, the director of lighthouse is full of resources, and is always available for prayer. I now volunteer for Lighthouse Beginnings and help with social media Marketing, and graphic design. I am so blessed to be involved with this community!

I have been in recovery for almost 4 years now.  I have been out of residential treatment and programming for about 7 months now. When I moved out was I a little unsure of my plan and what I was going to be doing or where I might be living. I was offered the wonderful opportunity to move into the Lighthouse Beginnings home, Agape Manor home in Little Falls. I have been living there for about 3 months now.   Since being there I have finally been able to have my 3 children come to stay with me. Being able to be blessed to have the opportunity to live in the 2-bedroom apartment in the Agape Manor home and have my own space where my kids can come stay with me whenever they went, gives me such an overwhelming sense of peace and joy, that even just a few short years ago I longed for. Lighthouse Beginnings has helped me fulfill the desires of my heart of having a place to call home.

I have been in Lighthouse Beginnings for almost 2 months. It has given me the ability to have accountability and still make my own decisions. I’m grateful for the opportunity and the safe place to live. We have a great leader in our house—a true Man of God. I can lean on him with just about anything. I appreciate that it is a smaller house with less people. I’m grateful for my 1,000,000 chances on life and the people who support me in it.
