Meet our Executive Director Jesse Jones


After 25 years of struggling with substance use disorder and incarcerations Jesse made a decision to put his life back together and to help others do the same.  Mr. Jones a former graduate  of MN Adult and Teen Challenge and it’s leadership institute now identifies as a person in long term recovery. His passion is to support individuals and see them be set free from addiction as well as set free from any issues that may be controlling their lives. Mr. Jones holds certificates as a CPRS-FE and is also certified in Mental Health First Aid.

Scott J. Adkisson

Board Member


Scott Adkisson is the founder of Diversion Solutions, SBC. For more than 25 years, Mr. Adkisson has been a leader in developing multiple diversion programs that support numerous state and local agencies as well as thousands of individuals each year. These programs are beneficial to states, counties, cities, victims, taxpayers, and offenders. Mr. Adkisson was instrumental in the development and legislation to establish the MN Driver’s License Reinstatement Program.

In 2018 Mr. Adkisson developed a successful paid intern program that hires recovering addicts and previously incarcerated individuals. This program helps develop skills that will support their future employers.

As an individual in long term recovery, Mr. Adkisson is honored to be on the board as an advocate of persons in recovery.

Ashley Paulson

Board Member


After many years of substance abuse, homelessness, and incarceration Ashley got serious about her recovery.  As a person in long-term recovery herself, her passion is to help others find recovery, build up, and encourage others to walk through their recovery their own way!  Ashley holds certifications as CPRS, PSS, And is a Certified Approved Supervisor for Peer Support. She is dedicated to advocacy and embraces mutuality.

Catherine Markey, BS, MA, JD

Board Member


Catherine Markey is a business owner and attorney practicing in the criminal justice system in the Twin Cities area. Ms. Markey has helped support reintegrating individuals throughout her career and believes in the importance of providing that holistic care to her clients.

Ms. Markey worked has spent her career serving her community as a college professor, a high school instructor, and a private investigator.

Recently, Ms. Markey created and implemented a program to provide low cost expungements to give reintegrating individuals an opportunity to succeed.

Ms. Markey believes that clients need counseling and social support to recover and reintegrate into society, and that removing barriers to employment is the key to preventing recidivism.

Raiha Chamberlin

Board Member 


Hi! My name is Raiha Chamberlain. I am a 49-year-old mother of three. I am very active in the community. A great deal of my time is spent working with women in recovery by reading about Christianity and practicing my faith. My love for recovery and God keeps me motivated. I also love spending time with my dog. I will be attending a class to become a mental health support specialist in order to increase my knowledge and to better support the community, especially those in recovery.

Laurie Ketola

Board Member


Lauri A. Ketola was elected in 2018 to serve as Carlton County Attorney.  In this position, Mrs. Ketola is firmly committed to justice, while not failing to lose sight of mercy.

Prior to serving as County Attorney, Mrs. Ketola spent fifteen years implementing and directing Young Life in the Cloquet/Esko/Carlton Area.  As a Young Life leader, Mrs. Ketola spent over a decade building relationships with high school students, earning the right to be heard, introducing them to Jesus Christ and helping them grow in their faith. 

Mrs. Ketola believes in the redemption of every human being.
