Grievance Purpose:  To provide for resolution of grievances within 30 days while maintaining confidentiality.

 

Policy:  Lighthouse Beginnings is committed to assuring that all clients, participants, staff, and volunteers are satisfied with the service and/or quality of care they receive.  Lighthouse Beginnings has a grievance process, listed below, to address concerns or dissatisfaction about services provided, provision of care, or any other part of Lighthouse Beginnings operations.

 

Definition:  A grievance is defined as a complaint, either written or oral, expressing dissatisfaction with services provided or quality of care.  A grievance may include, but is not limited to:

  • Safety or adequacy of any of the recovery homes
  • Behavior or treatment of any of the staff / volunteers
  • Waiting time for service
