I had the opportunity to live in Agape Manor after going to Minnesota Adult and Teen Challenge. I have 16 months in recovery, but I needed a safe environment to help me grow in my faith and I needed community to hold me accountable. Lighthouse beginnings welcomed me with open arms. I stayed at Agape Manor, which is the most beautiful house inside and out. It's so spacious and every room has its own bathroom which is such a blessing in community living. Ashley, one of the Director of Housing has not only become an amazing mentor for me, but she has also become a great friend. Reverend Jesse Jones is full of resources and is always available for prayer. I now volunteer for Lighthouse Beginnings and help with social media Marketing, and graphic design. I have remained strong in my sobriety, am newly married, and have been blessed with a beautiful baby girl. I am so grateful to be involved with this community!

I have been in Lighthouse Beginnings for almost 2 months. It has given me the ability to have accountability and still make my own decisions. I’m grateful for the opportunity and the safe place to live. We have a great leader in our house—a true Man of God. I can lean on him with just about anything. I appreciate that it is a smaller house with less people. I’m grateful for my 1,000,000 chances on life and the people who support me in it.
